sick day {again.}

we are having another sick day over here. 
i am not sure what the deal is with us getting sick so often.

we had to run to target to get some cold meds for me and some stuff to make dinner for community group {i am making this soup} 
i got maggie out of the car and put her in the cart. 
she sat down and snuggled herself into the seat like this:

 

i felt like the worlds worst mama taking this girl to the store, but we had to go. i made a quick run through the little lady clothes and almost peed my pants with excitement. all the new clothes they have are so adorable. like i wanted to put a thousand things in my cart. {dont fret sweet husband, i didnt.well i did, but i put it all back.}

i am hoping that she gets some of those sweet clothes for her birthday.

today there are a few things that are on my heart, some are serious, some are silly. i'll share them with you in no particular order.

 two:: i just used baking soda to wash my face & my hair. my hair has not felt this clean in a long time, & my face feels extra soft. i have been having some trouble with my hair falling out the past few months, so anything that makes my hair feel pretty & not like i am balding is awewsome.

four:: 

lately i really miss breastfeeding. you can read more about why i am no longer breastfeeding my sweet girl here. 

but today this week, i have really been missing it. i don't know if it is because i am reading a ton of blogs where beautiful ladies have just given birth & are breastfeeding for the first time, or again, but its making me miss it something fierce. i know i had to give this dream of breastfeeding until at least 1 years old to Jesus, because i didnt think that formula was in 'my plan', but it is. & i am 100% ok with that choice because it was & is the healthiest option for maggie & i. but, there are days when i just want to remember what it was like, to feel that intimate bonding again. & sure we have a million other ways that maggie pearl & i bond, but for some reason, lately this has been heavy on my heart. i will continue to give it to Jesus, because i know that he knows what is best. 

five:: i have been dreaming of a photoshoot with my sweet husband man & my lovely baby girl. here is what i have been dreaming about :

1.  i would love to hold and kiss my baby, as soon as possible!  ( i think this photo is darling and something to be treasured. don't be surprised if i have my own photo like this-- soon!)

my dream.

2. these are perfect. the whole set is mismatched. if i would have seen this 2 years ago, they would have been on my wedding registry.  they are so lovely, i could scream. 

shoe clips.

3. i think these are the most fun! i want 30 pairs of shoe clips-- that way i can wear the same comfy ballet flats, or my best heels, and have them look different all the time! 

my favorite place.

4.  it had to be on this list. i always want to go to disneyland. always. every single day of my life. i just found out about what they are doing for the holidays-- snow falls on the castle, lights everywhere, you dont need to wear 16 layers of clothes to stay warm... this sounds perfect. some day we will spend Christmas in disneyland. or at least go during the holiday season. you have to check it out... its awesome.

5. you can take the girl out of the coffee shop, but you cant take the coffee shop out of the girl. i love holiday at starbucks. almost everything about it. almost. and i really, really love gingerbread lattes-- with no sprinkles.
