linda.

i have over a million reasons why i am so thankful that i met my husband. one of them though, is that because i know him i also know her. my husband introduced me to a really beautiful woman, a woman who is important to him, and to a lot of other people as well. last night on our way to dinner at a friends house i asked nick who he thought i should write about, and he didnt even skip a beat when saying, "linda".

day three
Who is someone you know who inspires beauty?

there is this house that looks like your average american family lives there. you know, with cars in the driveway and beautiful plants in the yard. when you walk into the home you see a home that was built with love, and beauty. the woman who manages that household is ever so lovely. her name is linda.
linda loves so intensely that the thought of it makes me smile. she will welcome you like an old friend the second you walk into her home. she has many children, but has only given birth to two. she is an inspiration. her home is exactly what her heart is. its beautiful, a little crazy, full of creativity, and totally unique to her. she spends so much of her heart getting to know who you really are, and asking questions about life, and love, and the LORD. she is honest about where she is struggling, and what she is learning and doesnt let the fact that she is the "adult" stop her from sharing her heart.

she is a "tell it like it is" woman who loves her husband deeply and shows it effortlessly. she is  a woman who is sure of her beauty in Christ. linda has encouraged my husband in ten thousand ways. she has loved on him in ways that he needed, and been stern with him in times where it was necessary. she has loved on me and encouraged me to be a better wife and friend. she treats everyone as her equal and desires to share Jesus with everyone around her. linda is beauty. she is an amazing reflection of our creator. she is a wonderful example of proverbs 31.
