this weekend.

nick was gone for the weekend, so us ladies tried to entertain ourselves.

so, we went to starbucks, and maggie drank her 'coffee'. please let her think that starbucks water is coffee for a loooong time.
also, anyone else think that she looks like a full blown toddler in this picture? waaahh where is my baby?!

we spent some time at grammy and gramps house. maggie rode the tractor with gramps, and helped uncle d clean out his new {our old!} car... and the chandiler - well she didnt help do that, and neither did i, but i wish it was in my dining room!

maggie girl was so tired when we came home from my parents. she played outside literally all day long. i love how every single night she has to snuggle her sweet hippo and mr whoo { missy mouse got left in the car, so she is absent in this photo...}

i made homemade laundry soap - finally. i have been dying to make some for months, but never got around to buying the stuff. it cost $10 and i probably wont need to buy more until at least october. i have already used it and it works awesome - got out poop stains and ketchup. because thats what is important. if my soap cant get out poop or ketchup than i wont use it.

here is the recipe:
1 bar of fels naptha {grated}
1 cup of borax
1 cup of washing soda

mix together.
use 1-2 tablespoons per load.

easy right?

and to finish it off, we went to the park on sunday afternoon. i really hope that we get to do this more often. come on spring weather, please stick around?!

what was your weekend like???

    1. it literally took me about 30 mins to make it, and only because it took me a little bit to grate the soap. thankful you have the same laundry standards! :)
